JOHN LIU

John Liu is the founder and owner of Nouveau Luxury Builders and has 20 years of experience in real estate development and construction. He started as a banker, then a professor and a business consultant. His consulting business got him engaged in real estate development and construction management. He worked as a principal or an executive with several development and construction companies and was personally involved with design and construction of office buildings, shopping centers, hotels, apartments and residential homes. That experience stimulated John’s interest in custom home design and building. To follow his passion for home building, he started this home building business in 2002.

John finds great joy in building stylish homes and pride himself on beautiful homes crafted under his guidance. He traveled extensively worldwide to seek architectural and design inspirations and stay ahead of the design trend.

John Liu was born and raised in China. After working in the banking industry there for a while, he moved to the US and worked for San Francisco Federal Reserve Bank and International Monetary Fund in Washington DC. He received a master degree in Economics from Ohio State University and a doctoral degree in Finance from University of Houston. He was professing in Finance at different universities including University of Houston.
